Food Innopolis Special Service Platforms:

Food Innopolis have designed special platforms to upskill and reskill also to strengthen research, development, and innovation in the country’s food industry and to respond to the needs of entrepreneurs. The platform includes the following features:

  • FI Nationwide Network: Food Innopolis Network have specific expertise and are ready to support entrepreneurs in driving food innovation cities through cooperation and integration.
  • Functional Food and Ingredients: This platform empowers entrepreneurs to develop functional food products and food with beneficial ingredients for health. The platform offers various activities ranging from seminars to provide knowledge and understanding of related matters to in-depth practical training for concept development and product design and planning research and development, product prototyping, test analysis, and registration of food products.
  • Flavor Innovation and Sensory: This platform aims to create and develop entrepreneurs and flavor industries in the country, including related business and industry clusters such as flavoring agents, herbs and spices, curry paste, etc. This will help reduce imports and increase the ability to develop food products that meet the needs of consumers and the world market. Moreover, the platform links services for analysis, testing, and sensory evaluation from the Food Innopolis Network to support entrepreneurs.
  • Food Maker Space: This platform is equipped with tools and equipment for Food Tech Entrepreneurs & Startup and the public to create innovative food products. The platform provides the necessary support to transform ideas into prototypes and modify and develop the prototype of the product to meet the needs of consumers.
  • Future Food Lab: A laboratory area and specialist to support entrepreneurs in gaining knowledge and understanding of food innovation and improving and developing products themselves under the supervision and guidance of experts. Additionally, there is an ingredient and packaging library available in the area.
  • Food Pilot Plant: This platform aims to link and integrate cooperation among agencies to provide food pilot plant services to entrepreneurs for production trials, from the laboratory to the semi-industrial level, that meet the standards. The platform also develops the SMART Pilot Plant system by using IoT to manage the Food Pilot Plant to enable agencies to provide services with the highest efficiency.
  • FI Academy: Seminars and training to develop personnel potential and enhance modern knowledge and skills related to essential issues in business and the food industry (via Food Talks) and leading research and innovation issues (via Frontier in Food). The platform offers Special Workshops, which are training workshops organized to provide in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience on specific topics related to food innovation.
  • Food Communications: This platform aims to represent Food Innopolis as one of the global food innovation hubs in the world; moreover, to create visibility for Food Innopolis Network through both internationally and nationally seminars, to foster cooperation, exchange knowledge, and provide access to food innovation knowledge resources. Additionally, the platform publicizes food innovation city services to target groups through various channels, including print media and online platforms.
  • Food Market Access: The platform is divided into 2 parts, namely the use of marketing tools and providing information to encourages entrepreneurs to develop research concepts and products to identify their real target customers and markets before investing on product development. It also integrates cooperation with partner agencies to connect services and support entrepreneurs in different markets, such as modern trade and exporting abroad.
  • Food Innovation Accelerator: Accelerates the development of innovative business capabilities of entrepreneurs, incredibly innovative SMEs, and Food Tech Startup entrepreneurs to grow and compete in the international market. It provides intensive guidance (Coaching and Mentoring) and support. It also promotes the development of innovative food product concepts, both at the undergraduate level and for the public, through Bootcamp activities and food innovation contests, which will connect entrepreneurs with investors and business partners.
